Smooth J - Miami Bass Volume II

Quad drop low!

Yes sir, it really DOES  drop low on this long awaited follow up to last year's "Miami Bass", from Augusta GA's one and only Smooth J! This time we get 8 pure party tracks in unadulterated Miami style...

You might remember this track??

But that means there are still 7 more, and they are worth the dollars. Featured are Boyz Wit Da Bass' Cuzzin Crook and DJ Richie Rich... Check it out:

Booming huh?  I can't get enough of listening to "Pow booty"! All it takes for you to get the full songs is send 10$ US Dollars To Official706Records@gmail.com and Smooth J will take it from there...

Oh yeah, did I mention? Another great artwork by B-Bart, and Smooth J can be contacted on facebook easily by clicking THIS link.

Maggotron - Bug Eyed Monsters

"Get ready to Hide in your Room with the Headphones on!!"

Because the new Maggotron album has arrived! (Sorry, it arrived 4 days ago but I've been busy ok?)

What to expect? As usual a plethora of musical styles and an abundance of samples and seriously dope scratching. As for the lyrical content, I have no idea what the hell they are talking about but it's just that that keeps you busy every time you listen to this album and so it never gets boring! Another great concept album from the Maggotron team, available world wide thru multiple streaming services and purchasing platforms including iTunes and Beats. But if I was you, I would buy it directly from debonairerecords.com so the well deserved dollars and euros go straight into the artists pockets!

Good sound clips can be found HERE. And hey, if you happen to be a little low on bread right now, don't worry. DXJ understands and only has 1 message for you:
"World wide baby ... Stream it or buy it just listen ..... and let everyone know!"

So that's what I'm doing right here! Now it's YOUR turn!

Bass Society

Dynamix II 'light'

This is actually not a bad electro bass cd at all! Released on Majammy records (E-SA 1010) it reminds me of Dynamix II productions at times, but then 'light' versions so to say... what say ye??

But it's a Marc Pomeroy thing I guess;

"Mixed & engineered by: Marc Pomeroy"
"All sound creation by: Marc Pomeroy"
"Cover art & Design by:

Marc Pomeroy"

 ofcourse....

Bass Freaks

"Front cover in the back" series...

Remember the "Bass Zone" post? That one also had the front cover in the back, or the back cover in the front. And funny enough that one was also not so great, just like this one. These 2 tracks are the bass-y-est on the cd:

All tracks were written by Goldfinger and I think he's more into a funky, playalistic type a flow... but tbt; I'm not really feeling it...

Luckily there's a nice mini-poster for the garage* or workshop* that comes with this release

And before I forget, here's the back cover that should have been the front cover (although I have this feeling you saw it already)...

*mini-poster can be put anywhere you feel like ofcourse

Space Bass - Planet Bass

Who got the bass? SPACE BASS!

A few more cd's like this and I'll change the title of this blog to "Cabrera's bass covers". That's right, another Albert Cabrera production for One Rascal Prod. Inc. This time released on the Food For Woofers label (FFW 012 CD). Not all tracks are for me but there are some really dope ones present. Progressive - Drum n bass - Electro - Bass... here's a selection:

Not to be slept on...
