Bounce 96'

 Trunk Phunk

This is a Rip-It Records compilation featuring hits by 69 Boyz, 95 South, 24K and 10 K.A.N.S. There are also 2 other artists present, but before I get into that; I really keep wondering why the synthesis sign is behind 96? Isn't it supposed to be '96 instead of 96' ? Post a comment if you have an explanation for this.

So who are the other artist on this compilation? We have Flip Flop, produced by the Bass Mechanix:

And also The Turnpike Boyz, written and performed by Clay D! Click play and you are sure to recognize his signature voice...

AND NOW FOR THE FUN PART

This is the Japanese "GOLD" edition. Another "All Time Favorites" release, not sure if it was in the "Bass In Your Face Series" though...

This CD has the same 12 tracks as Bounce 96' + 3 (I think) exclusive remixes for this release!

Quad Zone

The cars! The girls! The bass!

Many moons ago I saw an add for this video cassette in the 1997 Pandisc catalog, which I received back then from a friend of mine.

Now it took me quite some time to find a copy, but good things come to those that wait, and I finally copped one!

So now I am pleased to share it with my loyal followers. Relax, sit back, and enjoy 55 minutes of bass music, girls in bikini and customized cars:

QUAD ZONE

I hope you enjoyed that ride through the once wonderfull world of Pandisc. Check out some more artwork from Gerard Delaney for ADimpact!

And a few schreenshots from the QuadZone website in 1998

Bass MTX

MTX - Serious about sound

Yet another Pandisc compilation, this time manufactured for MTX, the car audio company. Nothing new here, Bass Mekanik, Bass Automator, Boomtube, Beat Dominator, Bass Cube and Bass Tech DXJ. Ofcourse the music is always good but what I like most about this cd is the artwork; the cd is presented in a Multi-Image(tm) CD Case from Gelardi Design. You know, the type that changes image depending on the angle you look at it. I tried to make some pictures to show you. The text is supposed to change from "BASS" to "MTX", and the "MTX" on top changes in size...

Really great how they used to put effort in packaging during the pre-MP3 days...

And don't forget:

Bass Tribe - Jungle Bass

Dedicated to Boris Katunov - The one and only

The year was 1995 and Drum and Bass and jungle music was sweeping the nations... so the Miami guys had to join the party ofcourse. Bass Tribe consists of Neil "Beat Dominator" Case, Keith "Mr Bassman" Rosenberg & "the mighty but anonymous Bass Automator" (which is DJ Billy E)...

I'm sure you heard this song before?

For those who didn't get it yet...

Cover design was done by Gerard Delaney & Sergio Pinon of AdImpact, Inc.

Oh, and don't forget:

Juliana Techno Bass Party

Produced by Beat Dominator!

This is a rare Japanese CD in the Cutting Edge "Bass Patrol!" series! 12 out of the 18 tracks are from the "Hyper Techno Bass" album,

the other 4 might be exclusive for this release, I'm not sure. I'll post them here so you can take a listen. Maybe you've heard them before?

Bass Freq - Kool Hertz

Extreme low bass!

A cool cover (designed by Clearwater (CLRH2O) www.clrh2ostudios.com) and good music...

You see that? This is the Bass Mekanik at work! So you know you can expect quality tracks like these.  There's 12 in total on the cd, + an extended test section.

All of this and more brought to you by the good people over at www.neurodisc.com.
And don't forget: FILE UNDER BASS.

Maximum Boom Vol. 1

Jet sound

Funny cd. Only 7 tracks and cat. n° = PD-JET. Nothing new either; Beat Dominator, Bass Tribe and Bass Mekanik. I really wonder what that was about: "Jet Sound"... time to start digging.... Or do you know? Then don't keep it to yourself man, holler!!

Beat Dominator - Bass Station Zero

DOUBLE CD!

How you love that? When I first saw this cover on eBay I had to rub my eyes to check if I was seeing it correctly. Is it a bad picture or a fucked up scan? No, it's the real deal. A Beat Dominator double cd! Released in France in 1994 on the Private Beats/Musidisc label.

Now I knew they had already released this:

Which is the French release of Beat Dominator's Bass Station Zero (Techno-Bass 2). You know, this one on Pandisc Records:

(also released on vinyl)

But I guess they couldn't get enough of the man so they released it again as a double cd. Disc 1 is "Bass Station Zero" and Disc 2 is "Techno Bass"...

...Beat Dominator's 1992 Pandisc release:

(also released on vinyl)

Well, we can't blame you Musidisc, we also can't get enough of the Dominator's sounds...

Maximum Boom For Your Sytem - Volume Two

Car audio and electronics

Not saying there's anything new on this 6-track cd but a rare find for sure. This is one of the discs they used to make the "Ultimate Collection".  Now to get my hands on the other 3 volumes...

Here's what they were trying to sell:

The Best Of Miami Bass Volume 1

Compiled by Food For Woofers

All tracks licensed from: Pan Disc Music Corp. Miami USA and

so just call it "The Best Of Pandisc Bass".

Track 3) In the mix

Who do we have on this cd? The Beat Dominator, Mr Bassman, DJ Laz, DXJ and Danny D. Enough food for 14 great tracks! (That's right, 14. The tracklist shows 15 but they are not all on the cd. I couldn't find the last song; Return to the bass that ate Miami).

Track 9) Boom I got yo' bass

Maybe they had it on the original Food For Woofers release, but I don't have that one (yet ^^).

As you can see it's the same release but with a different color than the one distributed by Quality Centers (more details HERE).

Track 12) Bass it to the max

If you want to hear some more take a look overHERE.

OK that's it, goodbye for now...
