Bass Rocket

Produced by D.J. Kimura

It took me some time to find volume 1 for a reasonable price, but I finally did it. And the price was actually very reasonable: 1 full yen! Oshou brought his skills to design the bassmobile and -girl, and Hideki Kawazoe took care of the rest of the artwork. There might be more interesting info here...

but I can't read Japanese :-(

And the music? The music's not bad, the music's not bad... Let's not waste more time, just listennnnnn...

Bass Zeppelin - Stairway To Bass Heaven

How many more times...

... will I post horrible CD's like this? I don't know my friends, but I do know that this album sucks balls!  Maybe it could be an interesting listen if you're a Led Zeppelin fan? But I already don't like hard rock music, and I definitely don't like horrible "bass" covers. I say "bass" because this release does not have the kind of BOOM we all like, but rather "live analog mega bass" by none other than our beloved friend Camagisaw Man.

Check the title track:

Or how about Led Zeppelin's classic "Whole lotta love"?

Or "Black dog", which at least has a Miami bass like beat to it...

You like? Cool! Then it's your lucky day! There's more RIGHT HERE on my YouTube channel!
And what about that Bass Queen album? Another certified hit in the hard rock bass series. Next up: Bass Purple - Miami black night. Follow for now!

The visual producer was MASH, the design was done by Shingo Ueki and Masatoshi Ebisawa, photography by Masashige Ogata, and last but not least, the lovely model was Mei Inaba!

Miami Bass Volume 1 - Jiggle Jiggle

Straight from da bottom

Now here we have a really good bass cd, released by East West Japan Inc. 10 Rare tracks produced by DJ Spin featuring artists like Disco Rick, Gucci Crew 2, LA Sno and DJ Uncle Al amongst others. I'm not sure but I think this is the Japanese release of DJ Spin's Booty Party album. Take a listen, I'm sure you'll like it...

But do you know what I also like about this cd?? Do you remember Bass Rocket 4? I really have this feeling they used the same photoshoot for the cover artwork ^^

Follow me:

Ikura Presents Bass War II

Winter special

But that doesn't make it any better! Remember "Bass War I"? They keep promising "Bass", and even "Bass war", but I can't hear any! Looking at it you would think it's the Japanese version of the Boo-Yaa T.r.i.b.e., but listening to it you would think it's the Japanese version of Wham! The intro is probably the best song on this cd:

01. Opening

Maybe this can come in handy for the time of the year???

04. Memories of christmas

I'm telling you, not my type a hype, but if YOU are interested, you can always take a look HERE.

One last word of advice; if you really feel the urge to listen to bass war II, then I would suggest you listen to the American version, much better!

I told you meng!!

Ikura Presents Bass War I

Not the one from Miami but the one from Japan ...

This is the bassiest song I could find on this cd :

07. D. Flex & Taz - Hit em and stick em

The rest of the cd are hip hop tracks.

10. B-Bandj & Nice - Blast

Bass Rocket Vol. 2

You gotta love this cover !!

What is there not to love about "batgirl" (or is it bassgirl?) with a bassbazooka? And with tracks like "Pretty Snake", "Flying High The Power" and "Now My Time Is To Be All Right" you know you can't go wrong... Yup, nice artwork by Hideki Kawazoe and a cool illustration by Oshou!

The friendly people at East West Japan even advice us where to play the music:

Which actually is kind of annoying, because I really felt like playing "It's party time" at the beach! What to do now, what to do now!?

Do you have the guts to play this album at home???

You do?

Prove it!
