"Bass Resurrection" is the new 2021 release from the legendary instrumental electronic bass production duo known as Bass 305.  This release is a limited collector's edition and only 305 CD copies will ever exist.  Each CD will be numbered (1 of 305 to 305 of 305) and signed by Bass 305.  This limited edition album will not be available on any streaming services for at least  6 months.  This release is on a first come basis.

Tribute

I just found out about this BitPusher release this evening (yeah I'm a year late to the party), but I had to share it with "y'all" because it's a cool tribute to a bass classic. As a loyal follower of this blog I am sure you guessed which classic I am talking about already...

I consider this my crowning achievement, and not just because it is my most current, but because of everything that went into it!

This album is a digital assault on your system. This is bass music, it is for fellow car audio junkies and bassheads. It has been carefully recorded, mixed, and mastered for maximum boom and fantastic clarity, and with frequencies occasionally dropping well below 30hz, it is can supply woofer junkies with what they need. Featuring a mix of assorted electronic music styles including hiphop, techno, electro, a woofer endurance test track, and a couple of the quintessential slow and low DB drag style jams, it is a well rounded LP. Being a BitPusher album, there may be a small touch of chiptune onboard as well. A majority of the bass in this album was generated using digital FM synthesis as opposed to the more common techniques musicians tend to use such as pitch bending or time stretching kick drum samples. If you want a handy track for showing off how deep and loud your 12"s or 15"s are, there has to be something on this album to suit you!"

I seriously doubt it there is an actual "D.J. Bass Syndicate" out there who had anything to do with this cd. Just another DM Records compilation released with mandatory artwork from Deryck Ragoonanan to get more money in the DM bank account (hey, can we blame them?).

Bass Syndicate - Cyberbass-Virtual Reality

Produced & engineered by Bass 305

Not a world news I guess... isn't every bass album from DM Records produced & engineered by Bass 305??? Also as usual the illustration is done by Deryck Ragoonanan and the design by ImagExpress Corporation. This is the label's 3rd bass release but for sure not my favorite. Not saying it's BAD, but there's no track that really stands out. Take a listen for yourself:

If you didn't know yet, this is a real classic. The first release by Bass 305, the first release by DM Records, and being from 1992, it's also one of the earlier car audio bass cd's! Visit the Bassipedia for more on that subject.

They must have been busy moving out of their offices during the release of this cd. Take a look at the date and address on the inside of the booklet; 1992, Pompano Beach

but by the time they printed the backcover, it was 1993, and they had moved to Ft. Lauderdale. The things you learn here...

Bass Poets - Bass Boom Booty
