Non stop mixed by DJ Nasty Knock and Lisagaye

Well, mixed? DJ Nasty Knock produced some great bass tracks but he doesn't appear to be the greatest dj (hmmm... but he is supposed to be "DJ" Nasty Knock isn't he?) Listen to the "mix" for yourself:





What do you think? Good beatmixing? As you might have heard this is a compilation of Street Street Music releases. 

Nothing exclusive here except for the interludes, done by Nasty Knock himself and Lisagaye Tomlinson, who is a back-up singer on some of the Nasty Knock tracks.





Now I still don't know how to  read Japanese but I think this cd might have been conceived or sponsored by the people over at Shibuya FM 78.4 MHz (which seems to be broadcasting no longer), in conjunction with Alpha Enterprise co. ltd.

And just like the other Alpha Enterprise/Street Street Music releases the cover illustration was done by Kazunori Okuyama.

This is the Japanese release of a CD that was originally released by Street Street Music out of Atlanta, GA in 1997 (SSM31011-2). I personally feel the Japanese cover (illustrated by Kazunori Okuyama) looks way cooler than the original one:

Musically we get the same tracks as on the US version + 3 extra! The original CD was very good anyhow, so we can't go wrong with this one. Here are 2 of my favorite jams:

Here we have another prime example of why I started this blog! Remember my shipment form Japan? This was one of the gems that were in there (THIS was another one, and I have more coming). Crazy artwork by Kazunori Okuyama. I love this kind of sh*t! I didn't really know what to expect with this one but I could have imagined; a Street Street Music compilation with hits from DJ Nasty Knock, DJ Ace, South Side Pride and Fatal Attraction.
So that's a good thing!






As you can hear that megamix gives a good impression of what the whole cd sounds like (minus a few slower tracks near the end). Overall a good buy. Here's another booty shaker, this one's by Fatal Attraction:
