DJ Pure Logic - Best Of Bass Patrol Vol 1

DRAG STYLE!!

A must have! For all you old (AND new ofcourse) Bass Patrol, DJ Fury and RX Lord fans, I got a hot one here, courtesy of DJ Pure Logic with some added artwork by yours truly! 1 Hour of non-stop BP classics, not chopped, not slopped, but dragged. Guaranteed to expand your woofers even more than when Fury dropped'em. Check it out!

Now I hear you asking yourself; "Who is DJ Pure Logic?". Who is DJ Pure Logic? Do you remember this cover?

Ofcourse you do. Well, that's Pure Logic's 1997 Suburban Fury is sitting in! Take a look at this:

But wait, wait, not only that; he was also the webmaster for the old Full Moon Records website. So you know you're not dealing with a new jack, get it? NOW GET IT!

Ikura Presents Bass War II

Winter special

But that doesn't make it any better! Remember "Bass War I"? They keep promising "Bass", and even "Bass war", but I can't hear any! Looking at it you would think it's the Japanese version of the Boo-Yaa T.r.i.b.e., but listening to it you would think it's the Japanese version of Wham! The intro is probably the best song on this cd:

01. Opening

Maybe this can come in handy for the time of the year???

04. Memories of christmas

I'm telling you, not my type a hype, but if YOU are interested, you can always take a look HERE.

One last word of advice; if you really feel the urge to listen to bass war II, then I would suggest you listen to the American version, much better!

I told you meng!!

D.J. Magic Mike - Bass The Final Frontier

2LP test pressing!

OK, I agree, not a great cover...

BUT DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY YEARS IT TOOK ME TO FIND THIS!!??

As you can see this is a very rare test pressing for Magic Mike's "Bass the final frontier". It also came with 2 sheets of paper with the tracklisting.

The CD cover is more suitable for this blog, that is true (it already appeared HERE before anyway).

Plus, when you but the CD, you also get a cool comic book included in the booklet. Read it here (wait till after the intro):

But still, for a vinyl lover like me, this was another nice addition to the collection. I was too lazy to start ripping the record but you can always listen to the CD version HERE. And don't forget;

Bass Metropolis - Metro Bass

May induce irrational behavior

... so don't say they didn't warn you. This is a cd from the good old days of Neurodisc (their 6th, from 1994).  Lots of deep bass sweeps and rave type of beats, which is not uncommon for that period. As Chuck D would say: "Here it is!"

I really like the artwork by Adimpact, Inc., maybe because it's rather greenish...

There's some more artwork OVERHERE.

Bass Waves - Volume Three

Raps biggest hits of the 1990's

That would have been a more suitable title anyhow (but then again; "biggest" hits?). Forget about the "bass waves", I have a feeling they were more concerned with the "dollar waves" on this one. Not saying that's not allowed, but just leave the "bass" out of it, call it "a Luke compilation" or something.
Well, that doesn't matter anymore now, I'm just posting it here because you know I have a thing with longboxes, check it out:

THESE are the bass tracks:

THESE are the other tracks.

The Outer Limits Of Audio Fidelity

The answer lies beyond...

I always thought this was a bass album, but it's NOT! I agree, it doesn't say "BASS" anywhere, but being released on Cheetah Records and the cover reads "featuring D.J. Magic Mike" you would think it was a bass cd. Out of the 23 tracks, "only" 8 are bass. I don't feel like describing the others, I'll let you read what the producers think about it, maybe that's easier:

What I WILL do is let you listen to a few of the bass tracks. The cd starts with Magic Mike:

Track 6 is by Bass 305:

Techmaster P.E.B. @ 11 with DSTM-2:

And we finish off with some more Magic Mike:

As you can hear, not top dollar. If you really want to hear what else is on the cd you can take a look OVERHERE.
