Feel The Bass Vol. 9

Cheetah meets Attitude

 

So that means we mainly get DJ Magic Mike tracks and some from Attitude Records. Actually I guess that is typical material for the "Feel The Bass" volumes. Nothing groundbreaking, I agree, but it sure has cool artwork and it is a harder to find one in the series.

 

 

When I received the CD I thought I was effed because they added the wrong disc! Luckily it was not so but the disc sure looks like the one from Vol. 8!!

 

 

 

End good all good! 

Like I said; nothing groundbreaking to be heard, but that does not make the tracks any less better!

Since I'm a big fan of this other Bass Cave release, D.J. Quad's "Ka-Mo-Ka-Zi Quad"; I expected this one to be as heavy... but it's not so I was a little disappointed... Not saying it's a bad cd but the song don't drop like "Quakin" or "Yea-Yea"! Here's an impression:

Feel The Bass Vol. 4

~Turn up the bass ~

This is the first "Feel The Bass" volume featuring only Attitude Records songs. Attitude Records was already represented on Vol. 5 and I will try to put up Vol. 6 shortly. But for now we get C.C. Lemonhead with "Rock and don't stop", DJ Trans with "Bring it on", Quad Master Uno with "Bass n yo face" and Captain Quad with "Mix by bass part 2".

The second full length release on Attitude Records (ATTD-14002). This is a real classic so I'm sure you must have heard or seen this one before, but with a cover like this, how can I not post it??

The interesting thing about this cd is that it was released before on Underwood Records. This original release was only available on cassette tape and had differenet tracks on it. It is said that these were not  included in  the Attitude Records album because of sample clearance issues. Take a look at the differences:

There's some true gems on the tape. Like this one: "Sub zero", which can be found as a remix on the Attitude release.



And "Cars with the stolen system (my system is boomin)", a clear reply to L.L. Cool J's "The boomin' system".
