Since I'm a big fan of this other Bass Cave release, D.J. Quad's "Ka-Mo-Ka-Zi Quad"; I expected this one to be as heavy... but it's not so I was a little disappointed... Not saying it's a bad cd but the song don't drop like "Quakin" or "Yea-Yea"! Here's an impression:

I already posted Dance Dragon Bass Vol. 2 before (I also posted Vol.1 as a matter of fact but that one was not mixed by DJ Magic Mike) and as you can see that was Special Issue "HARD" while this one is "SOFT"... "What is that all about?" you ask... Well, it is true that on Vol. 2 we got some hard bass tracks like "Get some"
and "Hit it" (Just to name 2)
but on this release, Vol.3, it's all R&Bass and, yes, wait for it; "soft" stuff ^^

See? Good thing there is still the Magic Mike "cut" (pun intended) to give the people what they want...
Check this out; so inside the booklet they have all the lyrics printed but look at the Magic Mike track! "No lyric. Just noise, scratch, talking..." Noise? NOISE? C'mon son, I don't hear any noise! Maybe their speaker were rattling...
Still I really like these Japanese releases. Always nice artwork. The Dance Dragon Logo by the way was designed by Hibiki Tokiwa for Mars Art Lab.
This is the first "Feel The Bass" volume featuring only Attitude Records songs. Attitude Records was already represented on Vol. 5 and I will try to put up Vol. 6 shortly. But for now we get C.C. Lemonhead with "Rock and don't stop", DJ Trans with "Bring it on", Quad Master Uno with "Bass n yo face" and Captain Quad with "Mix by bass part 2".
It says "featuring" but the Bad Boys Of Bass "ARE" DJ Magic Mike & Quadmaster Uno. Some boomin' tracks on this cd (12 that is) but what else could you have expected if these 2 join hands, or should I say join bass??

So as you can see 2 more than the American release; "Work dat body (Club mix") and "Work dat body (Instrumental)". Those 2 can be found on the Wrap Records maxi cd or vinyl 12"...
