Bass Trancemission

A Statik Production

Yep, all tracks written, arranged, scratched, conceived, produced and performed by Adam Feinsilver aka Statik. You know, the same guy who did the "Quad Squad - Bottom Out" album I posted a few days ago. I think this album was released first. There's 15 tracks to be boomed here and 2 of them are NOT on "Bottom Out";

The tracklist doesn't make sense at all. Some of the listed songs are not even on the cd but other uncredited ones are, and the order they are written in is also completely wrong, but I'll spare you the details. I'm happy I had the Quad Squad release as a reference, otherwise I wouldn't have a clue as to what I was listening to. Don't believe me? Buy one and find out for yourself...

Deiko - Bass Dance Music

Also known as BDM

This is Deiko's 4th release already. I know I should have posted his other albums before, if not only to promote the Bass Mekanik, but in all honesty I haven't been a real fan of his work. His trap beats weren't THAT bad, but they sounded too much like loops, and not actual songs. His previous cd had an ambient feeling to it but it almost made me fall asleep. But THIS one is actually not bad at all! "Beat Dominator 2015?" even came to mind...

I already liked the title before I started listening; BDM. With all these EDM "dj's" making all the money these days, it's a reminder that Bass Music was and is the original electronic dance music, so BDM it is... and BDM we get!

Hey, even the trap tracks are more than enjoyable!

I tell you, if this wasn't a Bass Mekanik presentation, I would have probably never started listening to the following track...

... but nobody's perfect ok? So you just head over to iTunes, Amazon, Juno or wherever you feel like heading over to and get this album...

Quad Squad - Bottom Out

Techno Bass... Miami's next phase

This was probably meant as an ode to Techno Bass and not a claim of invention, because I'm very sure Dynamix II did that years before... Still this is a GREAT cd in my opinion! A lot of very raw bass tracks that do very well in the trunk...

Mega mix type DJ tracks

Let's not forget the actual Techno Bass (this one sounds rather "DM-ish")...

Woofer tests...

And some booty tracks (which are not my favorite here, but this song keeps reminding me of Gemini's "Skeezer")

All tracks produced by Quad Squad, some in cooperation with Bass Trancemission. Cutz & scratches by Statik. Featuring lyrics by Statik. But what it all comes down to is that all of these groups and people are just Adam Feinsilver, who, from looking at his site, doesn't seem to be into bass anymore...

K-Chill & Tetraz - This Is What You Want

Could that be you? This is a real necessitiy when you're planning to have a bass party though. ALL hype tracks, take a listen:

There was another cd supposed to come real soon on this label (Major Turnout), but I doubt if it ever saw the light of day... or did it??

Bass Check 4

14 Hottest bass groups

The good people at Joey Boy Records are kind enough to explain to us what bass music really is. Thanks for that:

"The definition of bass music([bäs] [myoo'zik]) Bass Check IV: The art of combining the lowest and deepest sounds to create a form of expressive compositions. Any combining rhythmic chants in a sequence that will bring large crowds and big booty ho's to an uncontrollable party mood. Bass Check IV has accomplished this by creating a compilation of the 14 hottest Bass groups of the century and 16 mega bass hits. Bass Check IV is a must for all the party people."

"Hottest bass groups of the century"; I'm not saying they are not hot bass groups, but since this is a Joey Boy Records release they only used their own groups. If this would have been a compilation with "D" hottest bass groups of the century a lot of names would have had to be added...

Still hot enough to make this a good cd. The artwork by Luis Garcia of  Luroga Design Miami also adds to the value ofcourse! I see Bass Patrol, The Dogs, The Puppies, Bass Man (who is on the cover but not on the cd), Creep Dog, Uncle Al and Sexy C... but there is one thing I have been wondering;
who is this guy?? Could it be Iceman J?

Rockford Fosgate Volume One

When too much is just right

This is a release from Holland. I expected it to be a bass cd (was hoping it would be one) but I ended up being disappointed. I mean it IS a car cd

so I'm sure there is enough bass in the tracks, but it's not the type of bass I like listening to. I would call it a house cd.

Like track 1 "Another day", it starts off great as if it was an early rave track but then when the beat comes in at around 1:55 it's over for me. Maybe not for you, but "I ain't into that", take a listen:

Another example (I tell you, I'm sure enough people will like these jams but I'm just not a fan of those repetitive 4/4 beats)

NO thank you!

When too much is just right

but for me it WAS too much. If it was just right for you feel free to check out the whole cd on YouTube. I just hope Volume 2 is better...

Oh yeah, the graphic design was done by Maurice Steenbergen for Midtown Design & Recording...

Bass Creations - Volume 5

12 TYPES OF BASS

Latamo bass, Dan's bass, neighbor bass, techno bass, rasta house bass, CCCP bass, midnight rave bass, illegal bass, deep groove bass, Dan's 2nd bass, planet rave bass and bass for kids. A lot of bass, but no bass to blow your mind, that's for sure. Track 1 is not that bad being some kind of rendition of "Miami's rockin' baby", but other than that, I'm not sure man... Take a listen yourself. Here's the full album on YouTube:

As usual all music was performed by X-ES + The Bass Posse and the cover design & graphics done by Todd D. Smith

Ultimate Bass Volume Two

Enter the zone

Here's a rather interesting release. Probably my last post of the year. This cd caught my eye on eBay for two reasons; the cover looked rather cool + I had never seen this one before. Upon closer inspection I noticed this is the second release from MadTracker. I hear you thinking; "MadTracker?". MadTracker released one cd already which is available from CDBaby. These are the release notes for that first release: "MadTracker composes some of the most radical bass songs around, yet keeps a sense of melody and rythm like nobody else. There are 3 bonus tracks on this CD (track 14, 15, & 16) Enjoy!" And here's a customer's comment: "If you love Techmaster P.E.B.s music, this is the cd for you. Now that Techmaster P.E.B. hasn't made any new cds, Madtracker is the perfect clone to that Techmaster sound." I knew now I could easily buy this without fear of buying a pig in a poke.

My favorite tracks:

Track 1 "Ultimate bass"; a bass test from 10 Hz to 80 Hz starts at 1:46!

Track 2  "Let the bass back" has a Techmaster P.E.B-like piano playing but the beat has a StreetBeat Records release feeling...

Track 4 "Basswaves SubSonic"; this one's really for cruising!

I do feel the album starts of really well but it get's a little less exciting as it progresses. Tracks 7 is not bad...

If you feel like checking out the rest of the album go to my YouTube channel and ENJOY THE BASS! Oh yeah, the artwork and design were done by J Robert and T Czerwinski. Peace!

Techmaster P.E.B. - Ampology: The Bass Of

A collection of early classics and new millenium material!

"The greatest compliment that an artist can receive, is that even ONE of their fans "get it". The listener hears what the artist is saying musically. I am continuously trying to make music that is timeless, and has no boundaries. It is extremely satisfying that my early works continue to be used today in MTV programming. Techmaster tracks have been featured with diverse artists such as Busta Rhymes, Christina Aguilera, Eminem, Foo Fighters, Britney Spears, Snoop Dog, Ludacris, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Lenny Kravitz & more.
Many fans have compared listening to my C.D.'s as to being in a movie! With my tracks, I have always tried to keep the listener guessing. As a former D.J., I love "breaks". I will perform a composition of nice melodies, and then slam into a tight and heavy Hip Hop breakdown. Other times, it's solely bass hits, with a melodic change at the end of the song. In mixing Techmaster music, every new and high-tech innovation is used. Even the sound itself is exciting. Bouncing multiple sounds from left to right with Holographic processors creates a virtual audio experience like no other. Some of the lowest frequencies are much too low to be heard, they can only be felt. With 10 - 15 " speakers, you are able feel the bass, and hear the sounds! This is THE Techmaster P.E.B. audible explosion!
But the one thing that remains the most important to me is the melody, or tune in a track. We live in an age where anyone can buy a keyboard, or use a computer to easily cut and paste pre-programmed basslines, patterns & beats together instead of composing something original. That's fine, but as it says in one of my favorite songs, DSTM, DON'T STOP THE MUSIC!!!
In this Ampology, a collection of early classics and new Millennium material, I assure you, the Music will not stop!
Peace & Love to all my fans- P.E.B."

18 Tracks on this 2003 release. 4 Of them are new (at the time). These are the new ones:

If you don't know about Techmaster P.E.B. yet this compilation is a good album to start with. And if you already DO know about Techmaster P.E.B. this compilation is also a good album for you because you will be remembering all those hits he made... Take a look:
