Recorded and mixed at "the lab"
and produced by The Committe. Another 12 R&Bass tracks from the Bass Patrol Angels on Joey Boy Records. This was their last release, which was a good thing because the format was getting played out around this time.
Like with most Joey Boy releases the nice arwork was done by Luroga Design Miami, Fl

Bass Shock - Dungeon Of Bass
Into the chamber...
Normally I was planning to use an even cooler cover to start the year, but for that originally planned post I needed a link to this cd cover, and it turned out I didn't post this cover yet, so in order for me to post the cooler cover I have to post this one first! Are you with me out there? I thought I already did post Bass Shock's "Dungeon of Bass" (and I kinda did when I posted the Phillipine cassette release) but I didn't so here you have it; Bass Shock's "Dungeon of Bass".
Like all early Neurodisc releases the album is not bad at all, not bad at all. Lots of uptempo, ravy beats. All produced by Debbie Deneese & Jamie Swartz ofcourse.
Another nice art design & computer graphic by Luis Garcia for Luroga Design Miami Fl., with photography from Al Freddy and the lovely cover model is TARI!
OK. So far this first post of 2016. I bet you can't wait for the next one where you will find out why I had to post this cover first! Soon my friends, soon...
In the meantime, don't forget to...

Bass Check VI
This was the last volume I needed in the Bass Check series...
... and I missed out on some good electro bass tracks though.
Until now that is!
Like most Joey Boy releases the art & design was done by Luroga Design Miami, Fl. and photos by Al Freddy.

Bass Quake - Bass After Shock
Frequencies galore
A good Neurodisc release with an even better cover by Luis Garcia for Luroga Design Florida! This release really distinguishes itself from the other Neurodisc releases because of the artwork. If you didn't know already, Luis Garcia is the man who did a great amount of covers for Joey Boy releases.
Let me now show you why I call this "frequencies galore"... check this out:
Can you feel it? Or this one:
One more:
Good ain't it? I really like the lettering Luis Garcia did here!
That will be all for now...

Bass Check 4
14 Hottest bass groups
The good people at Joey Boy Records are kind enough to explain to us what bass music really is. Thanks for that:
"The definition of bass music([bäs] [myoo'zik]) Bass Check IV: The art of combining the lowest and deepest sounds to create a form of expressive compositions. Any combining rhythmic chants in a sequence that will bring large crowds and big booty ho's to an uncontrollable party mood. Bass Check IV has accomplished this by creating a compilation of the 14 hottest Bass groups of the century and 16 mega bass hits. Bass Check IV is a must for all the party people."
"Hottest bass groups of the century"; I'm not saying they are not hot bass groups, but since this is a Joey Boy Records release they only used their own groups. If this would have been a compilation with "D" hottest bass groups of the century a lot of names would have had to be added...
Still hot enough to make this a good cd. The artwork by Luis Garcia of Luroga Design Miami also adds to the value ofcourse! I see Bass Patrol, The Dogs, The Puppies, Bass Man (who is on the cover but not on the cd), Creep Dog, Uncle Al and Sexy C... but there is one thing I have been wondering;
who is this guy?? Could it be Iceman J?

Terra Infirma
"Solid earth"
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
Terra firma is a Latin phrase meaning "solid earth" (from terra, meaning "earth", and firma, meaning "solid"). The phrase refers to the dry land mass on the earth's surface and is used to differentiate from the sea or air.
I have no idea what that has to do with this cd, thought I'd just let you know. So I bought this cd because it's one of the last remaining Joey Boy Records releases in my collection. When I started listening I was like; "Fuck, waste of money"...
But then luckily later on the music became better and I started wondering if these are the same people who are behind a lot of the Neurodisc releases. This track could easily be on, let's just say, a Bass Hit CD. Take a listen:
Or this sounds like something from "Bass Erotica"
Yeah, in the end, not bad at all...
So I'll leave you with "Club Disco"...
and the opportunity to listen to the whole shabang yourselves...

Bass Patrol - Body & Soul
The 4th incarnation...
1st we had the Mills Brothers, 2nd was DJ Fury and RX Lord, 3rd time around DYC and DJ Gusto, and for the 4th and final time (for now) we got The Committtee (Trak, Tek, Chapter, Fenz & Che), who also produced cd's for DJ Uncle Al, Creep Dog and the Bass Patrol Angels just to name a few...
Not a bad cd at all, here's the "hit" song Dirty Bird featuring DJ Uncle Al & Creep Dog:
A fun track featuring Nikol Williams from the Bass Patrol Angels:
And another party jam featuring the late great DJ Uncle Al!
Feel free to listen to the rest of the tracks on the Miami Bass History YouTube channel right HERE.
Art & graphics by Luroga Desing ofcourse, it's a Joey Boy release...

Bass Patrol - Angels Volume 2
Another dose of female R&Bass...
Not much more I can say about it. I used to like the Bass Patrol Angels in the beginning but after a few listens the novelty kinda wore off... If you haven't yet, better take a listen yourself. All tracks produced by Uncle Win and Full Deck.
And? Do you LIKE??
