Bass-O-Matic - Non stop mix!

 

 

Good cd! Only thing I don't understand is the "non stop mix!" part. I don't hear anything mixed. Maybe there is not too much of a pause between the tracks, but no mixing lol. So as I said, it's a good cd... but if you're an experienced bass collector and/or listener there will be nothing new to discover though :( This is the Ghetto Bass DJ's release "Bass Power" repackaged + 2 added tracks!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Because of this I didn't even have to upload anything to YouTube because I already posted "Bass Power" on the Miami Bass History channel 7 years ago, easy.

 

 

 

So then what are the 2 extra tracks. They added these right before the test section starts; "Bass blaster" and "Bass can you feel it?".

 

 

You have to give it to the Nippon Crown guys, they know what they are doing. Since Ghetto Bass DJ's are Keith "Mr Bassman" Rosenberg and Jorge "DJ Lace" Jaramillo (aka 2BMF), they added 2 DJ Lace tracks.

"Bass Blaster" is originally "Android Power" 

 

 

 

And " Bass Can You Feel It?" is originally... "Bass, Can You Feel It?"

 

 

So now you know all about this release. You could try to get this one for a multitude of reasons; you're a 2BMF collector, you're a BIYF collector, you want every cd ever made, you don't know what to spend your money on,  you collect stickers, the choice is yours. YOU do YOU.

This is a Rip-It Records compilation featuring hits by 69 Boyz, 95 South, 24K and 10 K.A.N.S. There are also 2 other artists present, but before I get into that; I really keep wondering why the synthesis sign is behind 96? Isn't it supposed to be '96 instead of 96' ? Post a comment if you have an explanation for this.

This is the Japanese "GOLD" edition. Another "All Time Favorites" release, not sure if it was in the "Bass In Your Face Series" though...

This CD has the same 12 tracks as Bounce 96' + 3 (I think) exclusive remixes for this release!

Honestly I did not expect much from this CD because of the cover. Normally the cover art should do the opposite; attract you to the product and make you feel like listening, but for some reason I thought this would be some type of fake bass music. 
My mistake!
I guess my mistake was not realising that "Bassman" was Mr Bassman Keith Rosenberg! Ofcourse it has to be booming then! 
You know he drops bombs!

Cover Wars Part 7 - Bass Waves vs Bass Hit

Both albums were released in 1996 and have 12 tracks... but that's were the similarities stop... Bass Waves' "Liquid bass (Ambient capsule one)" is a Pandisc release, while Bass Hit's "Sub shaker" is a Neurodisc release...

I don't know who did the artwork for this release but it really reminds me of the Bass Tech DXJ release "Bass Lander" which was also released in  1996 (on Pandisc Records)...

The year was 1995 and Drum and Bass and jungle music was sweeping the nations... so the Miami guys had to join the party ofcourse. Bass Tribe consists of Neil "Beat Dominator" Case, Keith "Mr Bassman" Rosenberg & "the mighty but anonymous Bass Automator" (which is DJ Billy E)...

I'm sure you heard this song before?

Who do we have on this cd? The Beat Dominator, Mr Bassman, DJ Laz, DXJ and Danny D. Enough food for 14 great tracks! (That's right, 14. The tracklist shows 15 but they are not all on the cd. I couldn't find the last song; Return to the bass that ate Miami).

Maybe they had it on the original Food For Woofers release, but I don't have that one (yet ^^).

As you can see it's the same release but with a different color than the one distributed by Quality Centers (more details HERE).

Maximum Boom For Your System - The Ultimate Collection

This double cd comprises 4 previously released Pandisc car audio samplers entitled  "Maximum boom for your system", hence "The ultimate collection". The reason why I'm featuring this cd here is because this is the first time I see a bass cd (US that is) released in this kind of double disc case!

Very nice cd indeed. But which tracks to showcase? There's 30 of 'em, one better than the other... OK... I choose... I choose...from disc one...
